This list should probably be named “50 Things You Should Have Eaten If You Live In Brisbane”. As a working title, that one’s certainly more apt. One glance and its glaringly obvious that Brisbane’s culinary offerings have really captured my interest over the last few years.
That said, I’ve spent the last week downloading my memories of prime experiences in this city – afternoons riverside, favourite milkshakes and burger bars, and galleries you shouldn’t miss…
I’m keen to hear how many of these 49 Brisbane-centric pursuits you have tried, which ones I’ve missed, and which should be crowned the official 50th?
Check off those you've done and hit submit. We'll collate the results and share the highlights with you next week. Happy clicking!
Fill out my online form.
I’m going to set the bar for “above average dedication to Brisbane activities” (and potentially, living beyond one’s means) at 30+.
How many have you done?

This is great! And to think people say there's nothing to do in Brisbane. Shame on them!
Unfortuantely, The Lark are no longer doing their Sunday Roast. They do have a fantastic new menu worth trying out!
I only got 13. Lots of great ideas. Thanks
Great list Susannah! A friend sent it to me here in Shanghai to stave off homesickness (or perhaps worsen it, and hasten me home?)
I managed 31/50 and will work hard on the other 19 when I'm next back in Brisbane. My 50th would be a perfectly delicious tarte aux pommes at Chouquette, sitting outside in the winter sunshine. Sigh.
Fiona! Hi! I hope that you were able to check off a coffee at Jamie's as I was just talking about you with Sharon the other day! I complimented her on her wallet, she said she'd bought it while shopping with a friend in Shanghai, and I made the medico link. Hope you're well! Looking forward to having you back - the tarte aux pommes will be my treat!
No 36 should have included The Survey Co!! Or make it no 50 on it's own. Great lane way dining/bar
Good suggestion! Do you have any recommendations from the drinks menu? Killer cocktails we should try?
