Two Minutes with Dan Clark

Meet Dan Clark - Roman, come Sicilan, food enthusiast and Italian wine aficionado. (Yes, this makes him one of my new favourite people).

Co-owner of Australia's leading importer of fine and boutique Italian wines, Addley Fine Wines, Dan has just returned from a trip to Sicily. With him he brings back beautiful and rare wines from hundred-year-old small family vineyards, all are entirely organic and biodynamic.

Oh, and did I forget to mention, Dan is also the co-owner of one of our all-time favourite Italian haunts, 1889 Enoteca? Even better, they are holding a one-off dinner in the restaurant this Thursday evening to showcase the best of Sicilian wines. And yes, all wines will be matched to delicious Sicilian food. Think clams in white wine, chili and garlic and spaghetti with eggplant and fresh tomato sauce...
