Two Trees Espresso Bar

Housed in what was once an old, run-down garage in West End, Two Trees Espresso is the newest (and coolest) kid on the block.

It’s not all that easy to spot when trawling along Vulture Street, so keep your eyes peeled for an uber-adorable hole in the wall, laid with sparkly, green AstroTurf. Or, for those familiar with The Happy Cabin, it’s right next-door.

Decked out in recycled wood, vintage furniture, pom-pom-covered tea cozies, crocheted blankets, and other interesting knick-knacks; the teeny espresso bar feels handcrafted and homely.

If, like me, you’re a bit of a toast connoisseur - and by toast connoisseur I mean picky toast eater (there is a seriously fine line between undercooked and well overdone, and the butter to bread ratio is crucial) then Two Trees is your haven. I’m talking DIY toast station! Choose between Levain sourdough with avocado, olive oil, and sea salt, or fruit toast with your choice of spread, and get toasting. It’s glorious.

And just when I thought the place couldn’t get any sweeter, I discovered that Two Trees is owned by the very young and hip, kissing couple, Jordan and Mim. Coffee aficionados themselves, they brew Mambo Coffee on Maleny Dairies’ organic milk. And it’s not bad, at all. In fact, it’s pretty darn delicious.

Simple yet satisfying, stop by for a quick bite on your way to the office or laze on one of the seats in the sun on the weekend.
