It's Thursday-heavy this week in Brisbane with a new season launch at Samantha Ogilvie, The Brian Jonestown Massacre gig at The Hi-Fi, and last but certainly not least Up Late in Design on James Street. With Indesign making an exciting return to Brisbane, why not lap up the creative vibes at Saturday's main event.

Wednesday:
Letterpress | Design College Australia
Take part in a two-day workshop and learn about the centuries old printing technique of letterpress. Utilising wood and lead poster type from the Design College’s type collection, you will be stepping back in history to learn how type was once cast.

Join Samantha Ogilvie and preview new season collections, while indulging in high tea at the Emporium Hotel Cocktail Bar this Thursday. Enjoy a glass of MUMM champagne and an array of sweet and savoury treats. With a limited number of seats, bookings are essential!

Up Late in Design | James Street
Showcasing a fusion of fashion, interiors, architecture, art, pop-up bars, food stands and entertainment, join Brisbane Indesign and the James Street Initiative for Up Late In Design. Held on James Street, we’re predicting a street festival like no other.

Guaranteed to be a ‘damn-entertaining spectacle’ by our walking gig guide, Adso, check out The Brian Jonestown Massacre at The Hi-Fi. Touring to promote their new album, Aufheben, the legendary psychedelic rockers will be joined by Danish indie duo, The Raveonettes.
