Words of Wisdom from Sweet Lime

It's 2012. Can you believe it? And while we're not really ones for resolutions (don't something like 97.3% of them end up being ditched by February anyway?) we do love a good inspirational quote to kick the year off in the right frame of mind. If you like to wear your words of wisdom on your wall, here are our picks for the best inspirational prints for '12.

Stevie and Three founder, Clare Lancaster, knows a bit about adventure. Leaving Brisbane to travel through Europe and start her business, the Note To Self print came from a note she wrote to herself when she quit her job to start living the life she'd imagined. What better way to start off the new year than with this kind of sentiment?

Online handmade community Etsy is a veritable treasure trove of inspirational words and you'll find a quote to match any aspiration, but this is one of our favourites. Who doesn't need a little reminder to be awesome?

It seems the cool companies are ditching the business plan and instead creating a manifesto. This one by Holstee has been around the web and back but what more of a kick in the pants do you need than: "If you don't have enough time, stop watching TV."

While this one isn't a print (not to say you couldn't print it off while the boss is still out of the office on holidays) it does embody what we think the coming year should be all about. The 16Hours Manifesto says it best: "Choose to see beauty where others see none. And strive for greatness always."

And if none of these really says what you need it to, why not pick your favourite Steve Jobs, Rumi or Homer Simpson quote and create a poster of your own on Zazzle. Just upload your artwork, fix to your wall and let the inspiration flow.
