In some fairly explosive fashion news, adidas and Beyonce have announced they’ll be buddying up for one hell of an iconic streetwear partnership.
The partnership is being described as a “multi-layered” deal (because a reg collab would be beneath Queen B, obviously). Beyonce is apparently being given the crown of creative partner at adidas, and will drop a line of signature sneakers and apparel. She’ll also be relaunching Ivy Park under the adidas brand.
The news comes just days after hints of new Beyonce music on the horizon and a Netflix special on that Coachella performance that had everyone renaming the festival "Beychella".
“This is the partnership of a lifetime for me,” Beyonce said in a statement. “adidas has had tremendous success in pushing creative boundaries. We share a philosophy that puts creativity, growth and social responsibility at the forefront of business. I look forward to re-launching and expanding Ivy Park on a truly global scale with a proven, dynamic leader.”
No drop dates have been set yet, but as with anything and everything Beyonce—we are expecting some majorly creative reveal.
