Cynthia Ervio’s Hosting A Wicked Real Life Visit To Elphaba’s Forest Retreat

If we weren’t already ridiculously excited enough about the 20 November release of Wicked: For Good, finding out that Airbnb is offering an immersive experience with Elphaba herself has certainly done the trick. 

Unlock Elphaba’s Retreat with Cynthia Erivo offers 20 outlandishly lucky fans a once-in-a-lifetime op to explore the magical Ozian forest from Wicked with Cynthia herself (omg) in Thousand Oaks, California. 

This three-hour experience on 3 December promises to whisk fans away on an epic journey into the heart of Elphaba’s world. Guests will enjoy a fireside tea with Cynthia (again, omg) and a guided exploration of the retreat, where they’ll discover hidden surprises and artefacts from Wicked and Wicked: For Good. They’ll also get to join in a multi-sensory Wicked sing-along (omg thrice), and a creative workshop to weave their own witch’s broom with willow, moss, and poppies. Think enchanting forest vibes with flora, fauna, and fan-fodder for days.

If you don’t get picked for the immersive 3-hour Wicked experience, fear not—you can also apply for a one-of-a-kind overnight stay at Elphaba’s Retreat for you and a plus one (who will legit owe you for the rest of time). Cynthia won’t be there sadly, however you’ll get the ridiculously decked-out Ozian retreat all to yourself overnight as well as the opportunity to enjoy immersive rituals and forest-inspired bites (because let’s face it, Uber Eats probably doesn’t deliver here).
