Cue childhood nostalgia because shit just got reeeeeal. Two of your favourite childhood snacks have had a delicious sweet little baby and it might just save you from the ridiculous summer heat we’re living (read: sufffffffering) through right now.
The Sweet & Salty Cracker Drumstick (actual name) is inspired by the humble Jat** which means this bad boy starts with a classic waffle cone and things get a little crazy from there. Expect cracker flavoured ice cream (¯\_(ツ)_/¯) with salty cracker pieces mixed through and a big ol’ drizzle of maple syrup on top. Can you really go wrong with that sweet-salty combo and maple syrup? The answer is no.
And if you’re from Victoria or Tassie, then you’re probably wondering what in the actual hell we’re going on about. You would know Jatz as Arnott’s Savoy and we’re almost certain they’re the very same thing. Also, you guys are weird down south.
This stroke of genius will be available from the 5 January everywhere you buy your ice cream but they’re limited edition, so you need to stock up. Big time.
**Is Jat the singular form of the classic cracker? We’re unsure. Just go with it, ‘kay?
