HoMie x Disney "HoMie And Friends"

Release Date: Tuesday 16 November
Shop: Homie

Melbourne-based streetwear label is HoMie is one of our homegrown favourites—leading the way in the world of sustainable style as a social enterprise delivering 100% of its profits to young people affected by homelessness or hardship. This month, HoMie will be releasing the ultimate nostalgic 90s-style collection in partnership with Disney. Designed by the HoMie team and printed in Melbourne, the 18-piece capsule collection is inspired by friendship, and features all your fave Disney friends splashed across matching sets, t-shirts, shorts, hoodies, and socks.

“This collection organically grew from wanting to produce a range that focuses heavily on fun, positivity, and friendship after what has been a really difficult time for people,” explains HoMie co-founder and creative director Marcus Crook. “We wanted the range to be fun to wear, so you will find lots of bright colours, bold prints, premium embroidery, and my personal favourite—the matching sets—so you can be in head-to-toe Disney this summer.” Head over here to shop

Release Date: Tuesday 9 November

Whether you’re a Karjenner stan or you can’t stand the world’s most famous family, SKIMS has been a gamechanger in the shapewear world. It seems FENDI creative director Kim Jones thinks so too, with the legendary Italian fashion house revealing a collab with Kim Kardashian West’s ultra-hyped label.

Due to drop in November, it’s inspired by a 1979 Karl Lagerfeld-design collection for FENDI that featured twisted tube tops, pop colours, and tight sashes. The collab goes well beyond just figure-sculpting pieces. Think nylons in tomato red, cream, and bright violet printed with a FENDI and SKIMS logo, as well as bodysuits, puffer jackets, and mini dresses. There’ll also be a range of FENDI accessories in similar shades, like the Peekaboo and Sunshine Shopper bags.

“The innovation in fabrics and fit typical to SKIMS paired with the luxury and quality of Fendi may feel unexpected to some people, but the similarities between our creative vision and goals are so closely aligned,” Kardashian West said in a statement. “It’s that tension that excites me.” Shop FENDI x SKIMS here

Loved all around the world for her party-perfect dresses, Australian designer Rebecca Vallance is celebrating 10 years of her eponymous label with the addition of a stunning, European summer-inspired swimwear edit. Titled Euforia (Italian for euphoria), the dreamy suits explore the idea of escapism, Vallance explains. "Like so many of us reflecting on the times, we ventured to Europe on our summer holidays. This collection we wanted to bring joy and glamour, and the desire to venture out.”

In the mix are balconette bikinis and flattering ruched one-pieces in buttery "Limoncello" yellow, lipstick red, and a floral print in sunset shades of orange, mauve, and icy blue. Complete the summer in Positano vibe with matching cover-ups and flowy dresses. Shop here.

Aje is a name synonymous with perfect party season dressing—and the iconic Australian brand isn't shying away from its higher purpose this summer. Perfect for post-lockdown celebrations, long lunches, Christmas events, and New Year's Eve revelry, Aje's "Scent of Summer" collection features vibrant gelato hues like blush, bright white, and fiery fuchsia splashed across the label's signature voluminous-but-structured dresses. The Jacinto pleated dress was a highlight at Aje's runway show at the Royal Botanic Garden in Sydney earlier this year for Afterpay Australian Fashion Week, with its lush layers of luxurious lime green tulle. Elsewhere details like waist cut-outs and puff sleeves give elegant garden party vibes, and we love the new "Citrus Bloom" print too. Shop here

Aje x Local Supply

Release Date: Wednesday 13 October

Another highlight on the Aje runway at Afterpay Australian Fashion Week this year was the glossy plus-size cat-eye sunglasses. Made in collaboration with Sydney-based sustainable sunglasses label Local Supply, the limited-edition capsule is a far cry from the Y2K-inspired sunnies flooding our feeds right now. Inspired by the Scent of Summer collection and its opulent shapes and overblown proportions, the sunglasses take style cues from the 60s and 70s. There are three styles in the drop: "The Catfarer", "The Cat Eye", and "The Square". Available in a muted rosy pink, tortoiseshell, off-white, and black, if you love statement sunglasses or don't vibe tiny shades, you need to add these to your collection.
