Continuing their reign of iconic 90s styles, New Balance has released the 997H, and it looks the goods.

The silhouette is a more streamlined adaption of the original 997, first released in 1991, and has stayed true to it’s OG heritage whilst also incorporating some fresh touches. A fuse of two iconic New Balance kicks, the 997 and 998, this silhouette has been streamlined for a more contemporary vibe.

Arriving in four new colourways—“rain”, “castle rock”, “cloud”, “white” and “magnet”—the refurbished silhouette maintains the OG upper, sporting enhanced GCEVA construction and features the retooled ENCAP Reveal.

The redesigned 997H features pops of colour, mesh and suede detailing, taking design cues from the OG 997 which was initially released in suede. With a nod to heritage and style from the 90s, these could be one of NB’s most wearable silhouettes.
