Last week it was ridiculously cheap airfares to Athens, this week it’s just as good a deal that’ll take you to Berlin.
Low-cost airline Scoot can get you all the way to Germany for as little as $299 (from Perth) on bookings up to 10 December. Once you add your bags and a return flight, that’s a round-trip ticket of about $800, which is pretty much the cheapest airfare you’ll find from Australia to Europe these days.
While travel from the west coast is cheapest, it’s still pretty damn good if you’re based over east, with one-way fares from the Gold Coast totalling $309 and Sydney and Melbourne for $319.
If you simply can’t hack the budget airline life for a long haul flight, you can also get your hands on ScootBiz tickets from $1059. Yes, 30kg of checked baggage, 15kg of hand luggage, meals, entertainment, in-seat power, priority boarding and a comfy leather recliner with a footrest can be all yours for just over a grand. Now that’s living.
Ready to book? Check it all out here. Then, start planning your getaway to the city which helped initiate the Bauhaus Movement, there are plenty of bars and off the beaten track neighbourhoods to check out.
