If you thought Netflix was taking a backseat on the juicy true-crime content, think again. The streaming giant has merely been building up all the suspense with its brand new doco series—The Confession Killer—and this one’s too good to miss.
Set to drop in five glorious parts on December 6, The Confession Killer looks at the life of Henry Lee Lucas during the 1980s. This guy basically confessed to hundreds of murders, bringing closure to a heap of unsolved cases. As for where things get suss (yep, brace your detective skillsets here), there’s no direct evidence linking Lucas to the crime scenes so he stunned authorities with his ability to accurately sketch victim’s portraits while citing brutal details of each attack.
But, already adding to chaos, journos and attorneys then found impossibilities in Lucas’ timeline and DNA testing started to contradict his internationally-reported claims putting into question whether Lucas was a serial murder or just someone entangled inside a flawed justice system. Like we said, this series is JUICY.
Get ready to obsess, fixate and theorise, The Confession Killer drops December 6.
And good news, Netflix is dropping new episodes of You season two sooner than you think.
