Chicago Bulls teammates Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan sit court-side, at half-time during a game. They have their backs to the camera with their jerseys on proud display, with their heads close as they talk game play

For just a moment, we’re going to ask you to step away from your true crime bubble. Yes, Tiger King was, well, king and The Innocence Files blew our collective minds, but it turns out there’s an epic new docuseries out there and it has nothing to do with murder. Shocking, right?

Just last week, Netflix finally released the first few eps of the highly anticipated series, The Last Dance. This 10-part series deep dives into the famous Chicago Bulls of 1997, in particular patriarch Michael Jordan and his quest to help the Bulls win a sixth NBA title in eight years.

But it’s not just about the action on court, it turns out there was a whole lot of juicy drama in the locker rooms, in particular, some serious tension with the club’s front office. And everyone, from the players to the coaches, is ready to spill the beans, including never-before-seen footage, as well as interviews with more than 100 people close to the team.

The series also covers several of Jordan’s famous teammates, like the insanely talented Scottie Pippen and his controversial (lack of) salary. And of course, notorious bad boy Dennis Rodman—including a pretty epic incident where Jordan himself flew to Las Vegas to drag an MIA Rodman back to the Chicago court. See what we mean about drama?

Check out the trailer below.
