For those of you who can’t get enough of True-Crime podcasts, boy do we have some news for you. Yep, this one’s for when you’re done and dusted with The Australian’s heavy hitter, The Teacher’s Pet and heads up, it oddly takes place in Sydney’s Northern Beaches… again.

Barrenjoey Road is the second instalment of the ABC’s Unravel: True Crime series.

Following the cold case story of teenager Trudie Adams, who disappeared along Sydney’s Northern Beaches in 1978, presenters Ruby Jones and Neil Mercer (just massive journos in the Aussie media landscape) investigate and expose the dark underbelly of the ‘insular peninsula’.

This podcast is made to keep you on edge, dredging up the police corruption, murder and drug deals all surrounding our Northern Beaches. Both Jones and Mercer are trying to crack the 40-year-old case through the work of previous journalists, who always seemed to hit a wall.

Barrenjoey Road has just conveniently dropped to fill that Teacher’s Pet void so get listening right here.

This epic true-crime podcast has been turned into a creepy as hell TV show.
