It’s been a real rollercoaster of a week, let me tell you. Only a few days ago Urban Decay announced they would be discontinuing their original (and best-selling, iconic, can’t-live-without-it) Naked eye palette *sob*. I looked down into my almost empty palette, and I’ll be honest, it felt like breaking up with my significant other. Sad times, indeed.
But, just a matter of hours ago a brand-new palette has been leaked online, sending the beauty world (and me) into an excitable tizzy. Urban Decay—breaker, and re-builder of hearts—is set to release a brand new Naked palette; the Cherry—and it’s utterly gorgeous!
The Naked Cherry palette will contain 12 new shadows, including matte, shimmer and satin formulas as per the original Naked formulas. Shades are a plethora of pastel pinks, rich burgundies, purples and a splash of neutral browns and taupes.
Currently there are no specific details on the Australian or New Zealand launch of Naked Cherry, but you can be damn sure we’ll bring you all the deets as and when we get our greedy little hands on it.
Until then, savour that OG Naked palette; she’s a goner. RIP.
