We all lost our collective minds when we first heard about FLASH festival—a three-day sun-soaked music party filled with pasta masterclasses and wine tastings taking place in Tuscany.
But then a little old thing called Corona hit and festivals, as well as international travel, were put on hold indefinitely, making our Italian vaycay feel further away than ever before.
Fortunately, there is a silver lining because the gang at FLASH are bringing the festival from Italy to your lounge room so you can still catch epic acts, smash pasta and sip wine—making the ‘stumble home’ journey so much easier.
Introducing FLASH [In A Box]. FLASH is partnering with independent wine bars and restaurants to bring the smells and tastes of the festival across the globe, meaning you can score hand-picked bottles of red and natural wines in a box direct to your doorstep.
Because the founders of FLASH know us Aussies love a festival, they’ve partnered up Friends with Benefits Wine Club who will be delivering FLASH [In A Box] from Sunshine Coast to Byron Bay and Sydney metropolitan areas, while Heartattack and Vine has got the north Melbourne burbs covered. If that doesn’t include your area, you can still get involved by supporting your local wine bar, just grab a few bottles of natural wine (like and an Orange and a Sangiovese/Chianti) and you’re good to go.
Once you’ve got your wine in hand, you can jump on the festival’s live stream at 7pm on Saturday 16 May. The festival, which will be hosted by founder Benedetta Venturini, will include wine-tasting masterclasses with experts from Tuscany to London, and of course some seriously epic beats, with live performances and two twilight DJ sets. The really sweet part? The festival itself is free. Weekend = sorted.
In the words of the FLASH festival, ‘Apart we live, united we drink and dance!’.
While you're at it, start planning your post-iso holiday at these dreamy destinations.
