New Zealand Juggling And Circus Festival

If you’ve ever wanted to join the circus (haven’t we all?) this weekend is your chance because The New Zealand Juggling And Circus Festival will be going down at Parakai Springs. There will be oodles of workshops, a jaw-dropping gala show and even juggling Olympics! Better yet, you can enjoy a splash in the on-site pools and hydroslide.

Strassman’s iTedE

International comedy star David Strassman and his side-kick teddy (more commonly known as Ted E) are back in town. The brand spankin’ new show, iTedE, is a hilarious take on our technology-laden lives. You’ll be rofling as you watch the duo poke fun at all things social media.

Shapeshifter And Friends

Nothing says ‘Kiwi summer’ like grooving along to New Zealand’s unofficial summer band, Shapeshifter! Kiss the sunshine goodbye in the most glorious fashion with the band’s summer finale show. They’ll be joined by joined by K+Lab, Dylan C and special guest Tiki. Even if you’ve seen the boys countless times before, this is one gig not to miss—it’s gonna be a banger.

Movies In Parks: Grease

Movies In Parks is back for another weekend…and it’s the best one yet! Everyone’s favourite musical Grease (sorry La La Land) will be gracing the screen of Coyle Park. Sing (and dance!) along as good girl Sandy falls in lurve with bad boy Danny. Movies In Parks will also be screening The Good Dinosaur at Collins Park in Greenhithe on Saturday night.

Crap Music Rave Party

Back by popular demand is the famous Crap Music Rave Party. Don’t be put off by the name—this party phenomenon has been taking the world by storm! Ports Of Auckland Round The Bays

Let’s be honest, you can’t call yourself a true Aucklander until you’ve participated in Round The Bays. The 8.4km fun run is New Zealand’s largest mass sporting event, attracting more than 30,000 eager runners and walkers alike. This Sunday’s race starts in the city centre and weaves its way along Tamaki Drive to St Heliers Bay.
