If you’ve been meaning to tick the ballet off your bucket list, this show is the one to do it with. This critically acclaimed 60-member theatre company will wow you will their elegance and skill.

Can’t get enough of The Races? Get your fix this weekend. The Extravaganza | Matakana

Roll up, roll up! This gypsy fair is New Zealand’s largest traveling event, and it looks to be even better than the last. Tarot and palm readings, sack races, arts and craft stalls, revamped jewellery, a giant kaleidoscope… and that’s just some of the fun! There’ll be lots of live music and of course, heaps of delish food trucks.

Interislander Summer Festival | Remuera

After all of those Christmas parties and races, we know the feeling of never wanting to see your heels again. Fear not! Swap them for some jandals and shorts for a picnic day at the races. There are heaps of activities for all ages, and you get to skip that ‘does this fascinator look ridiculous or fashionable’ panic!

Sun And Sound 2017 (R18) | Takapuna

Beats and the beach! The perfect summer combo. This music festival is one for the books, with DJs from GeorgeFM, Roxy and Highlife Entertainment providing the tunes. There are beach games on too, so it’s time to show off your skills in some beach volleyball, beach soccer and all the jumps and slides!

Highlife Summer Sundays (R20) | Takapuna

Sundays aren’t a do-nothing day at Highlife! Kicking off at 4pm until the late hours ‘til 1am, Regatta’s resident DJs are coming out to play. There’s the full Regatta menu on offer—think Wagyu beef burger, pan roasted lamb loin, and charred courgette salad. Let’s not forget their extensive drink menu, either. No rest for the wicked!
