Just wrapped up a long day of adulating and not quite sure what to do with yourself? You could drag your lazy tush to the gym...or you could pop a bottle of plonk you know you deserve. It’s a tough call really. Not to fear if you can’t decide though, because Pocket Bar & Kitchen is hosting a Pilates + Pinot class! When your heart’s telling you wine but your conscience is yelling exercise, this wine-infused workout is your saving grace. For just $20 bucks, you can get toned and tippled with a glass of Mt Difficulty Pinot Gris or Noir. That’s what we call #winning.

Auckland Live International Cabaret Season Premiere—Starman
Auckland Town Hall
Dust off your most fabulous frocks, wiggle into your snazziest stockings and powder on that glitter, darling, because The Auckland Live International Cabaret Season is officially kicking off tonight. Brace yourselves for an utterly fabulous celebration of all things glitzy and glamorous. Auckland Town Hall is where you want to be this evening to catch the first glimpse of the many stellar shows of the season. Tonight you’ll be treated to Starman, an act straight out of cabaret capital, Berlin, that re-imagines glam-rock icon David Bowie in the most faaaabulous way imaginable. Prepare to be thoroughly razzled and dazzled.
Tucking into a bit fo theatre is aaaalways a good idea. It keeps you warm, out of the rain (we're looking at you, unpredicatble Auckland weather), entertained and gives you hella good food for thought. And with aaaall these world-class theatres dotted around our city, how can we miss up the opportunity to get ourselves thoroughly cultivated? Hitting the stage for all of this week is Alice Canton's OTHER (Chinese) contemporary exploration of NZ Chinese culture and itentity. Up to 100 actors as well as non-thespians are part of this dynamic show. Don't miss it.
