The coolest kids in town, the Seafarers Club has opened up their exclusive rooftop doors to introduce SEVEN, an epic bar serving up pan-Asian eats worth raving about. Levelling up the Auckland foodie scene, the new digs are sure to be the talk of the town with foodtastic bites, clever cocktails and some of the best vibes in town.

There’s lots to love about the hip new space. The swanky laid back fit-out  features one impressive bar and hands down one of the best views Auckland has to offer.

At the helm of the galley, Ebisu head chef Fred Wong dishes up gorgeous eats that are sure to have you coming back for round two. Designed to be shared, each gem is a masterpiece in itself and are just as indulgent as they look!

With a menu inspired by the wicked flavours of Asia, you’ll find yourself spoilt for choice. The small plate offering is perfect for those wanting to try a little bit of everything. Our top pick is the popcorn shrimp. An explosion of flavour, these little morsels are marinated in a drool worthy Sriracha mayo, seasoned with fried basil and chives.

Our new lunchtime fave, the tonkatsu is one for the foodie bucket list. Served alongside a moreish house-made Bull Dog sauce, there’s no forgetting this gem!

We seriously need to talk a’bao the swoon-worthy Duck and Bao. Starring a twice-cooked duck leg coated in a crunchy miso batter served alongside heavenly plum sauce and the fresh bao, it’s sure to have Auckland foodies lining out the door!

Our devoted dumpling fans, the prawn and shiitake combo is for you. As gorgeous as the stunning views are, these parcels of awesomeness are served alongside Godmother chilli oil, ginger and expertly paired with a golden tempura crunch.

At this stage, you’re probably wondering, could it get any better? A quick glance at the drinks menu will answer your question. Trust us, a pinch and a Penang punch is just what you’re craving after a long day in the office. A whirlwind of grilled pineapple-infused rum, pineapple soju and Guang’s pineapple beer is just what the doctor ordered, we reckon. Pineapple not quite your vibe? Then the Saigon Surprise is for you. A sweet symphony of vodka, raspberry, lychee, lemongrass and lemon, it’s sure to be your new go-to on a night out.

The party is only just getting started as the evening approaches! Friday and Saturday nights see the spot magically transform into a club with an atmosphere of awesomeness, featuring a live DJ and light installations by Angus Muir.

Be sure to sail by and check out the Seafarers’ lavish and lush new SEVEN.
