Looking to learn a bit about love this Valentine’s Day? Auckland’s favourite inner city artisan store, Scarecrow is hosting a ‘Language of Love’ workshop on Wednesday 10th February.
Running from 6–7.30pm, you’ll be taught by the in-house florist how to create beautiful hand-tied posies and be given the chance to hear about the romantic symbolism behind flowers and where they came from—handy info to keep in your romantic arsenal and bring out when you want to impress the love in your life!
Once that’s done, get amongst the chocolate class lead by She Universe, which looks at the history and mystery of chocolate, including a blind tasting and choccie fondue. If chocolate and flowers don’t spell Valentine’s Day, we don’t know what does…
Scarecrow’s chef Ben Barton has a special brunch menu in the works for the weekend of the 13th and 14th. Expect freshly shucked oysters and bubbly! There will also be picnic hampers filled with a selection of scrumptious Scarecrow treats for that pretty Valentine’s Day picnic you have planned for you boo (right…?)
