Auckland’s Getting A Magical Glow-In-The Dark Art Show

By Ruby Johnson - 18 Sep 2017

Us Aucklanders are notorious for judging everything on how Instagrammable it can be, now we’ve got just the event to ensure your ‘gram remains on fleek!

Glow at Artweek is returning for another year to charm us all with a little bit of magic in our lives. If a wander under the moonlight and gleaming art installations sounds like a bit of you, keep on reading for all the deets to get you to your fluorescent paradise.

Auckland’s week-long Art Festival is an annual event that never fails to leave us in awe of all the talented artists our big little city entails. When the spring sun dissolves into the North Shore’s night sky, Devonport’s Winsdor Park will be glimmering with fascinating art pieces that’ll be sure to brighten up your night.

The best news is that we’re all invited to experience the glow for three days this October, thanks to all the gifted architecture students at Unitec. If we haven’t got you hooked already, this event is 100% free of charge—say it again a bit louder for the people in the back—FREE. ENTRY.

Assemble your fellow magic fantasisers, and head off for your shining, neon-lit stroll beneath the stars to get a taste of what dreams are made of.
