Beer Yoga Is 2017’s Hottest Exercise Trend—And It’s Coming To Auckland

How do you make your downward facing dog 147 times more fun? Let us tell you. Add a cold brew (or two) and a room filled with like-minded, slightly tipsy individuals—let’s just visualise this for a minute. What could possibly go wrong?

Beer yoga is the latest exercise craze of 2017 and we’re quite frankly rather intrigued as to how this one will play out. Held over the course of an hour, the slow flow yoga class combines—wait for it—beer sipping with gentle exercise.

Held at Takapuna’s Master & Apprentice, according to their Facebook page, the first session is already booked out—sob! In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled for upcoming events—you don’t want to miss out on this Zen with a buzz.

When: March 22 from 6.30pm to 7.45pm and then every Wednesday until April 26
Cost: First session is free and $10 thereafter. Each class includes a bottle of beer
