Judge Bao Kickin’ It On K’Road Pop-Up
Baolievers, we have news for you! Serving up some of the best bao burgers in Auckland, Judge Bao will be kicking off their semi-permanent pop-up which will run throughout September! They’ll be on 321 K’Road from 5pm till 8:30pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights all throughout this month.
Fort Greene Relocating
Artisan bakery Fort Greene have closed their doors at St. Kevin’s Arcade and are moving on to bigger things at their new store. The sandwich specialists will be taking things up a notch with their wider space and will be churning out more baked goodies than ever—watch this space for more info.
La Pêche French Pop-Up Restaurant Open For Reservations
After spending years in Paris, creating pop-up restaurants and mastering the culinary arts of the French, Emma and Nick have come back to Auckland to show us what France has to offer. La Pêche pop-up is set to be a French dining experience that not many have us had the chance to experience and the hype for this pop-up is REAL. Williams Eatery Open For Dinner
Located on Wynyard Quarter, Williams Eatery may be new to the Auckland foodie scene but they have quickly become one of the top cafés in the city. They’ll be taking things to another level as they have announced that they will be open for dinner from Wednesdays to Saturdays with a creative menu of one of a kind dishes!
The T.A.B Is Back At Best Ugly Bagels
Avocado lovers, listen up! Best Ugly Bagels have released the news that the beloved T.A.B bagel is back on their menu. The hand-rolled sesame bagel topped with a generous serving of green gold, fresh tomatoes and basil leaves are a classic and we’re so glad that they have found a way back into our lives.

Clear your calendars for this Thursday as the ultimate foodie event is upon us! Head on over to the La Cigale French Markets in Parnell as the best food trucks in Auckland will be dishing out the tastiest eats from 5pm – 9pm. Krispy Kreme Announced Two New Stores
The doughnut institution Krispy Kreme took Auckland by storm with their store in Manukau. Well they’re not slowing down as they just announced that they’ll be opening not one but TWO new stores! One of them will be at The Auckland Airport for the jet-setters and there will also be a store opening in the CBD! Chancery Square will be the home to the new Krispy Kreme and it is set to open later this year.
Maia Atvars Says Goodbye To His Head Chef Role At Depot Eatery
Unfortunately, not all foodie news is cheerful news. Maia Atvars ended his five-year streak at Auckland’s iconic Depot Eatery on Saturday 1st of September and it’s a bittersweet moment of goodbyes and welcoming new beginnings. Let’s just take a moment to show some appreciation for this man who has been responsible for churning out those infamous fish sliders and cookie on a skillet and wish him well for his future endeavours.
Orphans Kitchen Temporarily Closed
The Ponsonby local favourite eatery, Orphans Kitchen are taking a well-deserved break! They’ll be back in business on Monday, 10th of September and their dinner service will be coming in stronger than ever from Thursday, 13th of September. Going a week without their crumpets will be a struggle but we wish the team at Orphans the best holiday!
