A Three-Day Wine And Food Festival Is Coming To Waiheke This Weekend

Aucklanders… it’s time to unleash your inner wine connoisseur because The Waiheke Wine and Food Festival is back for 2021. This is your Autumn island escape where you get to taste some of Waiheke’s award-winning wines and sample artisan foods—because who doesn’t love cheese, olives and copious canapes? #morebrieplease

The three-day festival takes place over Friday 14 to Sunday 16 May from 10am to 5pm daily. With Waiheke’s award-winning vineyards serving up their hand-crafted wines including Man O' War, Passage Rock, Mudbrick, Casita Miro, Te Motu, Stonyridge, Wild Estate, Cable Bay and more there will be a vino for you, whatever your preference.

Pick up a one-day or a three-day festival passport and enjoy access to all the festival tastings and unique experiences, art and music, a fullers return ferry ticket, shuttle transport to participating vineyards and special offers at island restaurants, shops, accommodation providers so you can make the most of your gourmand weekend on the island. 

Explore our gorgeous celestial neighbourhood with a guided Dark Sky Waiheke experience. Enjoy a free ‘Telescope Viewing in the Vineyard’ at Te Motu Winery, Saturday 15th May from 8pm onwards and visit the Dark Skies Waiheke Island page for all the details.

The festival will end with closing ceremony, featuring Radio Rebelde at Wild Estate on Sunday 16 May at 3pm.
