With that in mind, it’s not surprising that we're going to see a major plant-based food trend in 2018. Think pulled jackfruit and other plant-based meat replacements hitting the shelves.
Yup, the intermittent fasting trend is here to stay, and it’s all about when you eat, not what you eat. Basically, you go without food for around 16 hours and then have a period of eight hours where you eat your entire day’s worth of food in order to lose body fat. We are going to sit this one out and stick to our 16 hour eating period...and 8 hour fasting period.
We've definitely loved the Hawaiian poke bowls that went off in 2017, but we're super excited about 2018's Middle Eastern food trend. I mean, who can resist halloumi, falafel, hummus, dates and pomegranates?
