Do you find yourself with an ever-growing collection of clothes yet still seem like you can’t find anything to wear? Then we’ve got the scoop on an event that’s perfect for you!
Kill two birds with one stone by helping out the community while updating your wardrobe at the same time. How? By heading along to Botany Town Centre’s mega Community Clothes Swap on Saturday 8th of July.
As part of their 5 Days In Fashion event, the Community Clothes Swap is aimed to keep you looking fresh and funky but also do a good deed to benefit The Salvation Army.
All you’ll have to do is bring along your once-loved clothes (that are still in good nick) from 11am-2pm and get swapping! You’ll be able to pick up and love some funky new threads just in time for the chilly season.
All proceeds and leftover clothing items from this event are going straight to The Salvation Army so they can keep on supporting Kiwi families in need. Last year, The Sallies were able to help more than a whopping 120,000 New Zealanders and this event is sure to help them to keep up the choice work.
Not only are you going to be all rugged up and warm in your new winter clothes, but your heart is surely gonna be warm and fuzzy from knowing you’ve also done your good deed for the day!
