How To Celebrate Oktoberfest

October means a few things: Halloween. The start of better weather. The realisation that it’s beginning to get uncomfortably close to Christmas....but arguably the most exciting thing to celebrate this month is the German festival of Oktoberfest!

Think beer, dancing, bratwurst, parades, beer, costumes, giant pretzels, gingerbread, beer, fair rides, live music, and also beer. Like a LOT of beer, guys!

So, this all sounds like fun, how can us Aucklanders get amongst it, you ask? Here are the best ways to celebrate Oktoberfest in Auckland!

1. Celebrate Oktoberfest in the CBD at The Shakespeare. For only $12 you recieve entry and a stein glass as a momento of the night…even though everything else may be a little hazy.
