Calling all craft beer enthusiasts! Much-loved brewery Little Creatures is about to take over Auckland with its epic craft beers.
That’s right, Little Creatures has found a home in a historic airplane hanger (so hip) at upcoming precinct Catalina Bay. The site will showcase a micro-brewery and all-day eatery with dishes as stunning as their beersies.
Hailing from Freemantle in Aussie, Little Creatures is known and loved for setting up shop in character-filled buildings so the quirky hanger is the perfect fit. Better yet, Catalina Bay is perched at Hobsonville Point Wharf, meaning you can ferry in from the CBD, sink a few bevvies and graze on artisans eats before ferrying home again. Best day ever, right?
Catalina Bay is the mastermind of Willis Bond & Co property developers and will feature shopping and residential spaces alongside delicious places to eat and drink (ie. Little Creatures). They’re joining forces with Cheshire Architects (the team behind Britomart’s pavilions, Pilkingtons, Odettes and Beirut) to create the funky new weekend destination.
But you’ll have to hold tight for this new opening. Little Creatures’ rad new venture is set to open late 2018. Auckland, you just keep getting cooler.
