Just before summer, we were wowed with the Jefferson’s younger and vibrant sister (and neighbour), The Juniper Room. And sadly, as pop ups come, they go. But no need to fret, because Elyx House has stepped in to take its place and we are stoked!
If you like vodka, and you like coffee, then the underground space is your dream come true! Gone is the bold pink that was The Juniper Room and in its place is a pared back, classy joint with lush blue chairs and white tables with stools. Serving up espresso Martini's, it will quickly become a fave.
The Elyx House is all about Absolut’s premium vodka line. Created in a copper sill, this lush spirit is made from single-estate grown winter wheat that dates back to the 14th century. The highly curated cocktail list features a bounty of vodka-rich concoctions—all with a shot of coffee. Hello!
Try the ‘Money Shot’ which features Absolut Elyx, gingerbread liqueur, espresso, caramel, Baileys, banana liqueur. Or opt for the ‘Goldilocks’—a shaken up libation of espresso, Absolute Elyx, salted caramel and creamy Irish liqueur.
If you’re a little adverse to either vodka or coffee, you’re still more than welcome to indulge thanks to their Perrier-Jouet offerings. Or, ask one of the boys next door at the Jefferson for a whiskey, or two.
Around for a limited time only, this epic new pop-up is sure to quash all your espresso cocktail cravings. Whether it’s for an after work pick-me-up, a tipple before hitting the town, or the last laugh, you’re sure to be impressed.
