A visit to the CBD just got a whole lot sweeter. The Raw Kitchen has spread its love and set up shop in The Strand Arcade and we couldn’t be more excited.
There’s no missing this inner-city treasure. Decked out from tip to toe in millennial pink, the fit-out is every bit as gorgeous as the eats. Raw foods extraordinaire and owner Olivia Scott is thrilled to be able to bring a slice of healthy happiness to the city. A labour of love, she and the team have worked tirelessly to create a cool, calm, creative and welcoming atmosphere that appeals to all. With a cozy lounging area on the upper level, it’s soon to be your go-to spot for meetings and catch-ups.
“I wanted to create a calm peaceful space, for people to escape the hustle and bustle of the city,” says Olivia. “Even if it’s just for 20 minutes, it’s great for the soul.”
It’s love at first glance peeking into the front-of-house cabinet. Filled to the brim with the classics we know and love, the new space will also serve as a cake and sweets kitchen. You’ll want to keep a keen eye out for wonderful new cake creations, including the bangin’ banoffee and raspberry lemon.
Driving the city crazy are the new ketogenic choc-peanut butter and blondie slices. A must have, these gems are sweetened with a specially sourced stevia and are beyond addictive. Get in quick! These babies are flying out the door faster than you can say sugar-free goodness.
But that’s not all! In addition to mylkshakes, they’ve introduced a range of super smoothie bowls. Olivia’s top pick is the green temple, jam-packed with all the things your body will thank you for—spinach, kale, coconut, pineapple, spirulina, and banana. This is one for health-nuts. If you’re after something a little sweeter, look no further than the pink panther. As pink as the surrounding fit-out, this bad boy features strawberry, rhubarb, banana, and date.
Not much of a sweet tooth? Check out the fridge for their RAWsome range of bowls including earth, mex, buddha, balance and protein options.
A cozy, comforting escape from the inner-city, there’s no doubt The Raw Kitchen’s new location is a game changer.
