Seafood and sea views go hand in hand and FISH has long been our go-to for two said things. So we were excited to hear that FISH has just had an extensive revamp, taking the decor and menu to a whole new level of spectacular.
With MKR judge Chef Gareth Stewart and Head Chef Fraser Shenton at the helm, the Hilton Auckland restaurant continues to serve up fresh sustainable produce in a stunning setting but with a newly instilled look, feel and menu. We’re talking Cloudy Bay clam chowder, Argentinian red shrimp, slow-cooked pig’s cheek with fermented cabbage and crackling, and crayfish ‘grenobloise’ with capers, citrus and squid ink toast—an absolute dream for seafood lovers!
Design-wise, FISH’s brand spanking new decor has been inspired by the harbour with warm wood tones and cooling blues and greens. It’s the perfect spot to end your meal on a sweet note via dark chocolate tart or banana tapioca pudding. Now all you have to do is go and check it out.
