Following the success of the first fest in Kingsland, the Urban Street Fest is hopping over to the neighbouring suburb of Ponsonby for another night of fine street food and live entertainment.
This Thursday, from 5 until 9pm, a collection of the city’s much-loved street food vendors are parking up at 49 Mackelvie Street and will be serving up some of the best food in town. Favourites from the local street food scene that will be making an appearance include Got Pasta, Coreano, Judge Bao, RAWE, Double Dutch Fries, Lalele Organic, Guerrilla Grill as well as many more of the delish food trucks, trailers and vendors that roam the city.
Lee Gray who provided the entertainment at the first fest is back to be the entertainment of the evening, crooning out tunes as you tuck into your dumplings, pork buns and loaded fries.
Spring may be the season, but the bad weather is still rearing its ugly head from time to time and with this in mind, the market is completely indoors to shield everyone from the elements.
With a fine calibre of street food vendors in one place, free admission and live music, the Urban Street Fest has your Thursday night sorted.
