Galway Street has been transformed into a wonderland for wine connoisseurs. Just around the corner from Mexico, you’ll find La Fuente—an exciting new pop up with a focus on quality.
A collaboration between Edmundo Farrera and Britomart, this gem is not one you want to miss. An inner-city haven, you’ll know you’ve found the spot when faced with a giant ‘gram worthy Frida mural and curated wine wall.
All found in La Fuente, ‘the source’ in Spanish, has been expertly curated by Edmundo himself. With a selection of internationally recognised fine wines, particularly limited releases, natural wines and exceptional vintages, you’ll only find the best.
‘We’re not interested in entry-level products,’ says Edmundo. ‘Everything on the menu I’ve hand-selected myself.’
But wait, there’s more! Known as tequila’s forgotten smoky cousin, mezcal was the O.G. alcohol of the America’s. Hand-crafted and distilled in small batches and wild agave plants, Edmundo put together a bespoke selection of artisanal mezcals direct from Mexico exclusive to the pop-up.
'I am particularly fascinated by the complexities of mezcal, one the most exciting spirits worldwide today,' says Edmundo. ‘I hope that people will come along to experience what the buzz is all about, alongside some really fantastic wines.”
Alongside a selection from the Mexico menu, and even cheese and charcuterie boards, this is not a pop-up you want to miss. We’ll catch you there!
