Barfoot and Thompson Twilight Summer Series | Ellerslie Racecourse
Joining Auckland’s ultimate week of sport is the the Barfoot and Thompson Twilight Racing at Ellerslie Racecourse. Get glammed up and head along with a buzzing crowd as you watch unforgettable horseplay. Bonus to you if you’ve got a Nine’s ticket (or wear your club’s NRL jersey), you’ll get free GA entry. There’s also a free sausage sizzle on the Newmarket lawn from 5.30—6.30 pm. There will be ongoing entertainment and DJ Kieran Bell will keep the tunes pumping into the night.

After successful shows in Aotea Square and Mt Maunganui, the NZ Soul All Dayer hits Silo Park to celebrate Waitangi Day. Starting at midday, expect a six-hour, quality selection of local DJs playing many shades of soul music—classic, rare groove, funk and boogie and more.

Ben & Jerry’s Openair Cinema: Sundae Sessions—Joy | Western Springs
Head to Western Springs to watch J-Law and Bradley Cooper in this wild story of a family across four generations at Ben & Jerry’s first Sundae Sessions. Chinese New Year @ SKYCITY | SKYCITY
Marking the beginning of 16 days of celebration, SKYCITY Auckland will come alive with lion dancing, acrobatic performances, monkey-making balloon artists, lanterns and of course Auckland’s iconic tower will be lit in red and gold to mark the occasion. Also, expect Federal St to be shining bright under an impressive lantern display.
