this weekend in auckland, what to do in auckland, things to do in auckland

Markets, comedy, music and even a colour run. Phew! Weekends are best spent doing as much as possible in this fair city of ours, so don’t waste it sitting on the couch with a bag of chips. It’s time to get out and about and enjoy the best of what Auckland has to offer.

Here’s our guide to the best things to do in Auckland this weekend.

All Weekend

FRANKLIN ROAD LIGHTS | PONSONBY

HUDSON AND HALLS | HERALD THEATRE

Before Masterchef and MKR we had Hudson & Halls, the original great gay love story…this show has been so successful, the season has been extended, so head along this weekend for a night of great laughs and questionable cooking.

Cyclists, it’s time to celebrate because a new bike path has just opened up for your wheels! Head along to Silo Park for a night of markets, followed by a film! Fuel up on some of Auckland’s best street food while spending up large on art, crafts, fashion and accessories (the bar’s open too for those who fancy a wee drop) and then at 9pm sit back, relax and watch comedy Cool Runnings.
