We’ve been watching The Bachelor NZ religiously over the past weeks. Aside from wondering who the heck Jordan will give his final rose to (we’re calling Fleur), what we really, REALLY want to know is: where is that mansion and can we come for a sleepover?
Well, my friends, we’ve got the answers! Overlooking the Mahurangi Harbour, the stunning mansion (a.k.a. Solsbury Hill Residence) is located in Pohuehue. And if you don’t know where that is (don’t worry, we didn’t either), it’s about ten minutes north-east of Puhoi.
As for that sleepover, yup, you can totally have your own bachelor-esque slumber party! For the hefty price tag of $10,002 (don’t forget the extra $2), the luxurious bachelor mansion is yours for a night! Uh huh, the shag pad has been listed on AirBnb.
The house—sorry, mansion—is accessible by road, helicopter or sea plane with its own private jetty and helipad. Once on site, there’s plenty of room for activities with the mansion boasting six bedrooms, five lounges, six bathrooms and two kitchens.
Between popping bottles of Lindauer by the pool, there’s no shortage of things to do. The $10k price-tag gives you full access to a fishing boat, jet ski, ski biscuit, kayaks and paddleboards.
If you’re a bit like Naz and scared of water, guests can hoon around the property on a golf cart or take a late model Range Rover for a spin. There’s also a pétanque field, organic fruit and vege garden, wine room and an on-site English pub (just casually).
If you’re planning to visit, you’ll need to BYOB—that’s bring your own bachelor—because Jordan currently has his hands full.
