St Patrick’s Day Parade
It’s only fitting that the day that celebrates celebrating would have its own parade. The St Patrick’s Day Parade is taking over Ponsonby, showcasing live music, floats and a whole lotta celebratory shenanigans. Expect market day stalls during the day, a music and dance party following the parade and a night of partying up on the Ponsonby strip! Guinness on tap and live music—we’re strugglin’ to fault this event.
An Irish Film Premiere
Hosting something a lil’ different this year, Academy Cinemas is putting on an Irish film premiere. The event will include the exclusive premiere of Older than Ireland. Celebrating 100 years of love, laughter and happiness, this is an event that’ll have you smiling from ear to ear and get you in the true St Patrick’s spirit.
St Patrick’s Fair Day 2018
The Auckland St Patrick’s Fair Day is back and better than ever. With even more live entertainment, incredible food vendors and activities for all ages, this is one family-friendly event you don’t want to miss! The magical day is set to include Taytos and Club Orange at the bar for the adults and a range of stalls where you can get your hands on all sorts of goodies.
St Patrick’s Day Street Party
For another Leprechaun-celebrating year, head to the St Patrick’s Day Street Party. Located on the shores of Takapuna, we don’t think St Patrick’s would be complete without this party. Be sure to get dressed up for this one, the Shore takes this day very seriously. Let the jigs, drinking and celebrations commence.

The Riverhead is opening their Boat House for an afternoon of relaxation. Fight off that St Patrick’s hangover and check out Sunday Live, where The McSweeney Brother’s Irish Band will be performing live music. Entry is free, the atmosphere is friendly and happy vibes are promised.
