Once known for being a pastime for pensioners and about as exciting as watching paint dry, lawn bowls is now finally standing up for itself.
Fast becoming the it game to be playing this summer, lawn bowls is making you rethink its once ‘boring’ reputation, as people flock to the greens to bowl some balls.
With a lot of places only offering members-only opportunities, we wanted to hunt out and include the best places for non-members and newbies to play, alongside a host of family-friendly social events and tournaments.
What are you waiting for? Knock ‘em dead!
