Green Beacon Brewery 3rd Birthday Week

This Australia Day our beloved Green Beacon Brewery celebrates three years of pouring brews on the block with a weeklong schedule of feast and foam. The seven-day fiesta begins on Thursday and rages with new daily food festivities every day until their mega-bash birthday party on January 26 complete with birthday beer, barbecue and Tripple J’s Hottest 100.

Disney Sundays at New Farm Cinemas

All our favourite Disney features are coming back to the big screen and this week it’s Peter Pan, which is pretty fitting if you’ve jotted this in your calendar and you don’t even know any children.

Digital Zoo at QUT

Strapped for things to do in Brisbane on a quiet Sunday? Check out QUT’s Cube: a two storey interactive digital space, and the semi-sentient Jurassic marvels on display. The exhibit is the work of collaboration between the Cube Studio’s tech geniuses with Australia’s renowned paleontologist Dr. Scott Hocknull. Take heed, this Dino Zoo runs only until January 27 so don’t be putting it off.

Australia Day at Gasworks

Once again the Gasworks is getting into full patriot swing this Australia Day. Gather around the Gasometer and luxuriate in the smooth sounds of the nation’s favourite music countdown.
