The Sleeping Beauty By The Australian Ballet | South Brisbane

I promise we also have a bit of taste when it comes to our entertainment, which is why we are so excited for the opening night of the Australian Ballet’s ‘The Sleeping Beauty’. “Gleaming with Baroque golds and creams, glowing with vivid colour, and spilling over with fairies, princes, woodland nymphs and story-book charm, this ballet casts a spell of delight all the way to true love’s kiss.” Oh. My. God. If this doesn’t sound like the most delightful way to spend your Friday, then I don’t know what is.

Heading into Brisbane again on 25 February, the NAB AFL Women’s League is exciting for more than one reason and those reasons begin with a field full of lady athletes kicking butt and end with the fact that the games are completely free to attend. Some of the games are a BYO deck chair and picnic blanket situation, while others will see you kicking back in the grandstand. Regardless, there’s no need to book your tickets in advance, but you should head here for all of the deets.
