Hit Up The Ice Cream Festival

If a giant festival dedicated to everyone's fave frozen dessert doesn't get your heart racing, we don't know what will! Brisbane's inaugural Ice Cream Festival is bringing Brisbane's best ice cream and gelato aficionados together for a day of delightful dairy goodness. From heavy hitters Gelato Messina, to Brisbane locals Queen Of Pops, La Macelleria, Mister Fitz, Ruby Ice Cream, Cowch and CocoWhip all making an appearance, you'd be mad to miss it.
Laugh At ‘Luke Warm Sex’
9–11 March, Brisbane Powerhouse, New Farm
Following on from his hilarious and successful ABC TV series Luke Warm Sex, comedian Luke McGregor is in town to share the hilarity in the flesh. He even has a girlfriend now. His stand up show Almost Fixed It runs for 3 nights only at the Powerhouse, so get in quick.
Try All The Craft Beers At Brewsvegas 2017

A festival devoted to local craft beers is always welcome and Brewsvegas 2017—now in its fourth year—looks set to be the best yet. The reggae and craft beer mini fest and the South American Street Party look like standouts in a pretty jam packed festival.
Mooloolaba Mile Ocean Swim
Sunday March 5, Mooloolaba SLSC
Ocean swimming is the new marathon running, didn’t you know? And the Mooloolaba Mile run by World Series Swims is one of the premier events of the ocean swimming season. The 1.6km swim is the main event, but there are also 300m and 800m swims if you’ve been a bit slack with the ol’ training.
