Oxfam Wine & Cheese Night

Start your weekend early this Thursday night at Grape Therapy, one of the Valley’s best kept secrets! A fabulous wine and cheese night awaits to raise funds for Oxfam. This will be a night of fine wine and matched farmhouse cheese & cold cut artisan meats; yes please!

Brisbane Backyard Film Festival

Brisbane's most unique film networking and screening event is back for 2016. Gather under the stars to enjoy a night of local short films, music videos and trailers with delicious dinner and snacks available from some of Brissy's best food trucks. BYO drinks, beanbags, chairs and friends and enjoy some local cinema with a cold beer this Friday evening.

Saturday 28th May

Wanderlust

Soothe your mind, body and soul this Saturday morning with the world’s only mindful triathlon, Wanderlust. Join this vibrant community as you take on 5K your own way, 75 minutes of yoga and 30 minutes of guided meditation. Once you’ve run, bend and sat around Southbank, you can chill out in the ‘Mindful Market,’ jam-packed with local crafts and organic treats!

Big Pineapple Music Festival

This Saturday is the Sunshine Coast’s 4th annual, Big Pineapple Music Festival so jump in the car and head north for a festival vibe like no other! There will be 3 stage areas, free carnival rides all day and a killer line-up; Rufus, You Am I, Hermitude, yep, you get the drill. Get your tickets stat.

James Boag's Premium Doomben 10,000

The biggest racing event of the season is rolling into town this weekend. The James Boag Doomben 10000 is often touted as one of the country's most 'thrilling races' so you know it's gonna be good. There's a black type program on for this race too, so you know it's gonna be good! Expect all of the drinks, food and festivities of the races too.

Green Heart Fair

Brisbane’s biggest community sustainability event is back this Sunday with a bang. For the foodies, there will be cooking demo’s with MKR celebrity chefs as well as Brisbane’s best artisans showcasing their creations thanks to BrisStyle Markets plus live music and free native plants to take home! Win-win.

Italian Food And Wine Festival

Experience the tastes, sights and sounds of Italy at Brisbane’s Italian Food and Wine Festival this Sunday. Situated in the beautiful New Farm Park, you’ll be able to enjoy wood fired pizza, pasta, delicious gelato and plenty of Italian wines. A nap in the park might be in order to help pass the food coma that results!

Much like the TV show of a similar name, the popular wine event Game of Rhones is back in a big way!
