National Chicken Wings Day 10c Wings | Bavarian Bier Café To Celebrate

Guys, the best day of the year has finally rolled around: it’s National Chicken Wing Day on Friday! To celebrate the legends over at Bavarian Bier Café want to devour 100,000 wings and they need your help. But, that’s not even the best part. The best part is they’re only 10 cents! Get your stretchy pants out people!

Regatta Fair | Regatta Hotel

The folks at the Regatta Hotel know how to party and so when they put their minds to a beer, wine and food fest, you know it’s going to be a good time. The annual RegattaFair is back with a full weekend set to celebrate the best things in life: food and alcohol. With food stalls providing happiness in the form of pizza, churros and pasta and drink stalls from a bounty of boutique beers and wine, RegattaFair should not be missed.

The Cage | Eat Street Markets

Get down to Eat Street Markets this weekend in Brisbane for not only a feast, but to check out their newest entertainment: a performance cage! Eat Street’s finest acts have been grooving, fire eating and jamming in ‘The Cage’ for weeks now and it’s high time you went and saw what the fuss is about. How they manage to perform so well in that little space is beyond us but kudos man! You’ve got skills.

Brisbane Yoga Expo 2016

Get ready to align your chakras everybody, Brisbane Yoga Expo 2016 is on again! Participate in the workshops, pick up a new pair of yoga pants from one of the stalls or enjoy the live performances and masterclasses from Brisbane’s best yogies and teachers. You can also recover from those extra three breaths you spent in Warrior 3 with a healthy lunch and an organic chai to keep you going.

James Street Food and Wine Trail

For the first time ever, the James St precinct will be putting a part of their street into lock down mode for the pure pleasure that is their annual James Street Food and Wine Trail. Day 1 will bring OzHarvest and James St together for a charity gourmet sausage sizzle to end all sausage sizzles along with a BBQ Brunch by Pineapple Express café. Day 2 of the event will feature all of the James Street food fam with restaurant pop-up stalls and special menus along with live music and an ILVE Kitchen stage. A tip-top Sunday session if you ask us!

Blessed are the Cheesemakers | Cloudland

Join Cheese Therapy as they celebrate cheese and all of the joy it brings at Cloudland with a tasting event for cheese lovers and cheesemakers alike. Live and breathe all things cheese for two hours, including a blue cheese masterclass and of course, wine (can you even have cheese without wine?).

Bush Does It Better | Spicers Hidden Vale

Get out of town and treat yourself to a night at Spicers Hidden Vale for their ‘Bush Does It Better’ dinner. With all the ingredients used, grown and sourced by the chefs at Homage, Spicers Hidden Vale's award-winning restaurant and surrounding farms, the chefs of Homage are set to showcase their skills in a menu that will give you a whole new meaning to the word ‘bush’. Hosted in an intimate fireside setting of the Spicers Retreat Barnyard, it is a stay-cay you will probably want to extend for a couple of days—or maybe a week.

The Night Noodle Markets will pack up every last noodle, satay stick, and bao at the end of this week so don’t dilly dally! From Harajuku Gyoza’s Raindrop cake to every dumpling you can get your hands on, the Night Noodle Markets is not to be missed. Not only is having all the best Asian restaurants in Brisbane in one place convenient, but it is also delicious. Do you need any other reasons to get your ass down there?

Moet and Chandon Winter Party | Riverbar and Kitchen

Although most Brisbanites shudder at the thought of temperatures below 20 degrees Celsius, winter in Brisbane is a fabulous time of the year. Riverbar and Kitchen gets this and have made sure you can enjoy all the glamour of our clear, long nights. They are celebrating winter and all its wonder with a Moet and Chandon Winter Party complete with ice sculptures, a DJ, and a bathtub full of Moet and Chandon to get rid of that winter chill (19⁰C oh my!).
