Get Burgers For A Year!

Get ready to conquer crowds as the delicious Ribs & Burgers opens up another store in Woolloongabba. This isn’t just any old opening though. To mark the event, the first 200 people will go in the draw to win a year of burgers. Yes, a whole entire year!

Jagermeister Winter Chalet Parties | Bavarian Bier Café

Bavarian Bier Café welcomes you with warm, open arms this winter in the form of their Winter Chalet parties. Featuring exclusive Jager drinks, ski shots, Friday night live footy and a haus DJ, join in the fun as the Bavarian transforms itself into an alpine chalet with epic party vibes.

Cindy Sherman Up Late | GOMA

Forget the usual Fri-yay post-work drinks, and head to GOMA Up Late instead. Enjoy artist superstar Cindy Sherman’s visual brilliance through a range of activities, including re-styling yourself in a pop-up style station. The best bit? The Up Late Bar has a tempting list of delicious food and drink so you can nosh while listening to a line up of awesome female musicians.

King George Square Winter Festival

King George Square will be transforming itself into a Winter Wonderland, outfitted with cute European influenced pop up stores, an ice skating rink, powder pits and toboggan racing.

Etsy Craft Party

Join Brisbane’s creative ranks and crafty mentors with an evening full of yarns (both verbal and woolly). Join Etsy and Work-Shop for a night full of wool influenced activities, including weaving and macrame. Don’t worry about going on an empty tummy, because drinks and nibbles are available at the event.

Festa Junina: Brazilian Winter Folk Fiesta

Festa Junina is traditionally a mid-year folkloric harvest festival that is celebrated in Brazil, and Brisvegas is getting in on the action now too! So don your country best, put on your straw hats and cowboy boots, and head to West End for a night of square dancing, hot mulled wine and typical Brazilians beats and eats.

Brisbane’s Big Day Of Belonging

Get involved in the biggest Crafternoon, with some of Brisbane’s craftiest creatives sharing their wisdom, some awesome décor scores to jazz up your house, live music and food trucks. There is a plethora of activities to get stuck into.

GOMA is featuring a number of film-inspired exhibitions for you to indulge in. This weekend, feast your eyes on cinematic projects such as the ‘In Character’ series. Featuring Tracey Moffat’s Video Montages and Jennifer Saunder’s celebrated sitcom Absolutely Fabulous the cinematic line up is hilarious.

UN International Day of Yoga Festival

This free community event is perfect for anyone looking to relax and unwind. The festival welcomes all, including long time yogis and those who can barely touch their toes. Expect to learn and experience everything Zen; from yoga and meditation, to live music and wholefoods stalls. And, if you didn’t get your yoga and wholefoods fix during the day, kick on to the after party at the Mantra Room!

Boudoir Bazaar Fashion Market

Re-vamp your wardrobe with a wide range of vintage must haves at the Boudoir Bazaar Fashion Market. A midday fashion parade kicks off the event to inspire your inner Coco Chanel, followed by the opportunity to stroll through a myriad of pop up stores. Expect bargain prices on a wide range of pre-loved designer labels, from European influenced handbags to Sass & Bide classics.

The event, featuring awesome Brisbane artists such as Kate Nash, Davon Divine, Kimberley Mather and Freya Lamont, will make for an epic night of art, music and creativity. Get there!
