Taikoz Performs Chi Udaka | Brisbane Powerhouse

In a collaboration creating a complete and thrilling immersion for the senses, this critically-acclaimed production is headed to the Brisbane Powerhouse. What is Chi Udaka you may ask? It is the combination of the flowing movement of South Indian classical dance with the intensely rhythmical Japanese Taiko drums. This melting pot of cultural performance has elements of electronica soundscapes, classical Indian vocals and a blend of dances all contributing to the drama and beauty of this theatre performance. The Powerhouse will also play host to a number of Taiko drumming workshops for beginners and advanced players so you can beat it with the best of them.
