Thursday 5th May

Sake, Sushi & Sashimi Masterclass

Looking for an awesome new experience? Grab your friends and head to Saké Restaurant & Bar any day of the week for their Saké, Sushi & Sashimi Masterclass! Hosted by one of Saké’s resident experts, choose from three masterclasses and taste your way through a series of sakés matched with beautiful fresh sashimi and sushi! Yum!

Friday 6th May

Dark Hour

Ever wondered what it’s like to see a horror film come to life? For one night only Poly Gone Cowboy will play host to the Dark Hour exhibition by local artist James Bourbon. Bourbon has put together an exhibition of works, found items & projections exploring our fascination with death throughout history. Don't sign up for this free fun if your afraid of the dark!

Surfers Paradise Live

Okay, so it’s not quite in Brisbane but we can totally claim the Gold Coast as an ‘outer suburb’ right? So why not jump in the car this weekend and head south to the biggest music festival to hit Surfers Paradise. Held over 3 days, Surfers Paradise Live will showcase a diverse mix of music genres to suit everyone's taste. With multiple stages throughout the precinct you'll be able to hear the sounds of live music wherever you are! Did we mention it's free?!

Tough Mudder

To all you weekend warriors out there, this one's for you! We hope your ready to take on the rolling hills, valley and forrests of Sirromet Winery as you make your way through the 21km Tough Mudder course this weekend. Don't be mistaken by the idealic scenery, there's still a gauntlet of world class obstacles and of course plenty of mud!

Great Houses of Ipswich

This Saturday, the National Trust will open some of Queensland's most beautiful historic homes. Take a trip out to Ipswich to be taken back in time and experience the stately homes of the 19th century.

Fish Lane Festival

Here at TUL we’ve been hanging out for this event. Featuring live music and gourmet food and drinks; what’s not to love. The food lineup is seriously impressive, Billykart Kitchen, Julius Pizzeria, Bird’s Nest, Gunshop Café, Gauge, Madame Wu; yep, you get the drift. Did we mention the one and only Gelato Messina will be scooping up their delicious ice creams?! You’ll know where to find us this Saturday afternoon!

NightQuarter Mother’s Day Special

Okay so it's a few weeks months away yet, but we were pretty darn excited when the return of The Red Deer Music and Arts Festival was announced. For those who missed out on last year's event, get excited! Taking place at the Mt Samson natural amphitheater, this iconic BYO festival is pretty much one big sleep-over-party with awesome music!
