Thursday 2nd June

Calling All Dicks! The Tragedy of King Richard III | Roundhouse Theatre

To celebrate 400 years of Shakespeare, La Boite Theatre Company is offering any theatre fanatic person with the name ‘Richard’ or ‘Dick’ a free ticket to see the world premiere of The Tragedy of Kind Richard III. Even those who don’t go by that name should hop along for an epic night of blood-soaked, historical theatre.

When: Nightly from May 27th to June 11th.

Board Games and Burgers

Run by Vault games and Grill’d Burgers, the night boasts a huge library of over 30 board games. Open for board game aficionados and noobs alike. Come along and test your wits on some old favourites, or try something new, with the Vault staff on hand to help you learn. You can play at your leisure, or compete to win a range of prizes.

Friday 3rd June

Treasury Heritage Hotel Carnival High Tea

Start Ladies Oaks Day early with champagne, elegant fashion and delectable nibbles at the Treasury Heritage Hotel. Guests will be updated on the latest winter trends with Indooroopilly Shopping Center’s fashion showcase. There’s plenty more to see and do, with opportunities to browse stalls from some of Brisbane’s best Milliners, or just sit back in the al Fresco Courtyard and enjoy the surrounding fashion.

Gold Coast Food & Wine Festival

Still running off the Noosa Food and Wine Festival vibes? Then prepare yourself for seconds, because the Gold Coast is following up with another feasting festival for your stomach’s enjoyment. With an epic line up of events, including loaded DIY caramel apples, ‘Merica VS Aussie BBQ wars, cocktail master-classes and an edible playground (not quite the full Willy Wonka experience, but not far off!). Five Bands for Five Bucks

Saturday 4th June

Treasury Casino Ladies Oaks Day

Ladies, it's that time again! Oaks Day is back this Saturday. If you're looking for somewhere to show off your epic outfit, sip champers trackside with your girls and have an all round epic day then this is your bet. Plus, if you're seriously feeling your look you can even enter the Indooroopilly Fashions on the Fields. If you're more about your sport, there's also a whole heap of horses running in the $500,000 Treasury Casino Oaks. Phew! Sounds like a lot of fun.

Trevena Glen Farm Open Day

Pack up the kids and escape the city with a morning full of miniature ponies, pigs, goats and cows. Trevena Glen Farm will open their gates so the public can experience the day-to-day life of their adorable animals. Also, there are tractor rides. That alone is worth a trip out of the city!

Don’t worry about stocking up on snacks before hand, The Diner not only has a life-size Elvis Presley, but a huge menu of tasty treats…not that they will past the credits!

Mount Coot-tha Food Trucks

Mount Coot-tha Food Trucks is on it, with a line up featuring Bruce The Food Truck, The Bone Lorry, The Dapper and Chic, The Bun Mobile, Little Back, Juan More Taco, Vira Lata Food Truck, King Of The Wings, That BBQ Joint and Micasa Food Truck!
