So you’re back at work and Christmas already feels but a distant memory. We hear you. And yeah, it kind of sucks. What we all need is a dose of good old fashion fun, and Brisbane just so happens to have it in droves this week, armed with some cracking events that will rekindle a little post-festive cheer.

From outdoor movie screenings, to giant science experiments and bohemian French concerts, here are 5 awesome things to do in Brisbane this week.

All Week

Hadron Collider Exhibition

The most talked about science experiment ever, for the sake of your own knowledge (don’t we owe it to ourselves to learn new stuff?), you have to check out the Hadron Collider installation. Fresh off the boat from the Science Museum in London, check out how scientists created the first ever atom accelerator while learning about some pretty neat science-y stuff. Sounds geeky, but holy hell is it cool.
