Don’t believe us? Scroll down to find our pick of the best things to do this week in Brisbane.
Tuesday 30 January
Popping up in living rooms and on office desks across Brisbane, terrariums (as we all know) are a great way to add a bit of low-maintenance greenery to your life. But, half the fun of having these mini ecosystems around is making them—who'd have thunk it? So when Patricia from The Soul Pantry went and decided to lead terrarium workshops, we just had to share. Based out of The Soul Pantry’s Stafford location, Patricia will be walking her students through the ins and outs of creating the perfect terrarium. All materials are covered by the ticket price and at the end of the session you get to take your very own lovingly-crafted plant baby home. Oh and you’ll also get a sweet 15% off discount voucher for any items purchased at The Soul Pantry. The workshop will kick off from 7pm. For all the details, and to get a ticket, click here.

Lip Sync Battle At The Brightside
First there was karaoke, then pub choir, and now Brisbane has done it again with a lip sync battle to end all others. Courtesy of The Brightside, this lip sync battle will see multiple teams and individuals alike compete to win the coveted title of 'Lip Sync Champion'. The battle will be stretched over three epic weeks, with the first one taking place from 7pm on the 31st. Think you can pull off a killer Britney? Happen to do one impressive Whitney impression? Get thee to The Brightside this Wednesday night. For all the details, and to register, click here.

Full Moon Party
Coming to Brisbane direct from Thailand, Famous Nightclub’s Full Moon Party is one event you don’t want to miss. Partygoers will be decked out in UV face and body paint—applied by a team of makeup artists, a.k.a your professional glam squad—before busting out shapes on the d-floor. The party itself will feature urban and electronic beats, plus classic reggae, Latin and Brazilian bangers. DJs will be on hand to pump out the tunes, while tribal dancers and drummers will roam the venue. And that’s all before we get to the crazy costumes and free flower necklaces.
